Founder & Executive Director
Victoria has always had a passion for life, love, and learning. In 2013 her life took an unexpected tragic turn when her husband Dean died suddenly of a heart attack at the age of 46. Dean led a very active lifestyle and certainly did not fit the profile of someone who was at risk for a heart attack. Upon Dean’s death, Victoria immersed herself in learning all she could about heart disease, early detection and who really is at risk.
Through sharing her newly-found knowledge and personal experience with friends, family and the community, Victoria quickly became aware that there were many, many other people with experiences just like hers. This awareness, combined with Victoria’s desire to prevent others from experiencing the terrible loss that she and her family went through, was her incentive to found No More Broken Hearts--because for Victoria, every single heart matters.
In the 3 years since Victoria founded No More Broken Hearts, numerous articles about this unique nonprofit organization have been published in the San Jose Mercury News, multiple community newspapers in the bay area, M Magazine, Bay Area Building Management Resource Guide, Los Gatos Living and Saratoga Living. Victoria is a frequent guest speaker for numerous local and national organizations, and has been featured on local bay area radio programs.

She currently works as a Derivative Accountant.

At a very young age Jeanmarie began her volunteer career at Agnews State Hospital, and while in her teens, she was a camp counselor working with individuals with developmental disabilities and special needs. Jeanmarie’s passion for No More Broken Hearts stems from her brother who, at age 47, survived a sudden heart attack resulting from a 90% arterial blockage just a few short months after a full physical and stress test rendered him in good health.
Jeanmarie has an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from DeAnza College and has extensive experience working with several Silicon Valley companies holding administrative, accounting, contract administration, accounts Receivable and credit analyst positions.
